Over the past several years, Transact has had the pleasure of providing you with quality, affordable, highly reliable Internet service. I am pleased to inform you that as of September 21st, 2011, Digicel Bermuda will take over the provision of these services to you. The team at FKB Transact wishes to thank you for your loyalty and patronage. I am confident that you will be well looked after by Digicel Bermuda, a company with a great track record of bringing better value, quality innovation and excellent service to the telecommunications industry.
Prior to Digicel Bermuda’s acquisition of Transact, much attention was given to ensure that you will continue to receive the same reliable service that you have always enjoyed. In fact, I am confident that you will appreciate the service and product improvements that Digicel has planned.
In the short term, there will be no change to your service, which will continue to be provided under the Transact name. Your monthly statement will still be delivered to you via email and you may pay your bill using the same methods.

This doesn't mean that there will be any immediate change in how you obtain support and service from the company you currently have service with. In fact, you can continue to contact the support numbers you are accustomed to and your calls will be answered by a call center that will be able to respond to all queries and support requests. FKBnet customers can now call 272-4357 for all queries, however calls that go to the current FKBnet number will be routed to the new phone center for a period of time.
While your service and login credentials will not be affected, you will begin to see your charges appear from a new billing system as they will be automatically generated each month. If you notice any errors in your bill or if you have any questions at all please contact our office immediately.
Customers of Transact and FKBNet will enjoy improved customer service through the expansion of Help Desk services. Help Desk will be available by dialing 272-HELP (4357) between 8.30am - 8.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am - 4.00pm on Saturday. We have a team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals always willing to help ensure you get, and stay, connected.
In addition, and an added value for current FKBnet customers, you have access to our convenient customer service center in Hamilton, located at Internet Lane in the Walkway between Front Street and Reid Street (between Trends and Silk restaurant). Internet Lane is open 9.00am - 7.00pm Monday to Friday and 10.00am - 4.00pm on Saturdays.
I am excited about the new, larger organization and look forward to rolling out new products and services in 2009 and beyond. I know that Troy Symonds, whom many of you know and have dealt with, is also keen to ensure continued success with this new company as Troy and I will be working closely together to further integrate the two organizations.
