Dear All,
The Ocean View v Belmont Hills tournament which was scheduled for Sunday, 12th February, 2012 has unfortunately had to be cancelled. It is hoped that we are able to re-schedule for later in the year.
In place of the above tournament, we have arranged a team fun tournament to be played at Ocean View, as follows:
TEAM FUN TOURNAMENT
(in place of the Belmont Hills Tournament)
at Ocean View
Sunday, 12th February, 2012
8.00am shotgun start
Teams: Four player teams will be selected by the committee
Format: 1, 2, 3 Net Best Ball (¾ handicap)
Tournament Fee: $10
Players will be put into teams of four and play their own ball.
Front Nine
Hole 1 – 1 net score will count;
Hole 2 – 2 net scores will count;
Hole 3 – 3 net scores will count;
Hole 4 – 1 net score will count etc.
Back Nine
Hole 10 – 3 net scores will count;
Hole 11 – 2 net scores will count;
Hole 12 – 1 net scores will count;
Hole 13 – 3 net scores will count etc.
This system will be repeated for 18 holes. The team with the lowest net score is the winner.
The sign up sheet is on the board at Ocean View, but in view of the short notice, if you wish to sign up by return email you may do so. The teams will be selected on Wednesday, 8th February.
